On 27 January 2026, the Examination Board of the Faculty of Economics decided that, in accordance with
§28 (7) of the BA/MA-ASPO starting in the summer semester 2026, the examination component "written
thesis‘ of the compulsory modules ’Bachelor's thesis‘ and ’Master's thesis", including the declaration of originality, must be submitted to the Examination Office in digital form only, i.e. as an (audit-proof) PDF document, via the student's e-mail address on time and in the appropriate form.
Submission in physical form is therefore no longer required.

As per decree of the Examination Board as from the SuSe 2004, only non-programmable pocket calculators, without communicating or (full) text processing functions acceptable. You can find more information here. 

When applying for certificates of any kind (Bafög. list of grades, etc.) it is important to take  a processing time of at least 3 days by the examination office into account.

When sending theses from abroad, please inform yourself about the customs and shipping costs incurred; these must be borne by the students themselves.
